Views of the First Basin

The First Basin of Lake Boon is entirely in Stow, and is the largest of the three lake basins. It goes from the Narrows (separating the First and Second basins) to the dam at Barton Road.

View from Barton Road at Pine Point Road, north of the dam, looking South.

The lake overflows into Bailey Brook at the dam,
and from there flows to the Assabet River.
